Welcome to The Love Eclectic. Over the years, I’ve had many people ask me how the Love family finds the time and money to do everything we do. The simple answer is – prioritizing and careful planning. On these (virtual) pages I plan to share our strategies for living a rich life – simply and realistically.

Whether you are a DIYer or an Amazon Buyer, there’s going to be great ideas for you here. Whether you love travel or prefer staying close to home, this blog is for you. Whether you’ve never had to worry about money a day in your life or you need to pinch every penny, I promise that you will find something here to help you make the most of your time.

Have you noticed that more and more people are looking for ways to simplify their lives? Minimalism is a growing movement. Families are selling houses and moving into modified school buses. Chicken coops are popping up in backyards across the country. People want to be happier, healthier, and less stressed.

I want all of those things for myself and my family, but drastic changes are not always feasible. Jobs, kids, money… those things are not always conducive to huge life changes. I get it. And because I get it, I live it. I plan on showing you the many ways that the Love family enjoys a rich life by making choices about what’s important to us and planning carefully to make the big things happen.

Here at The Love Eclectic, you’re going to find a bit of everything – recipes, reviews, crafts, travel, and so much more. We’re going to get real about living frugally so that the splurges are extra special. We’re going to talk about scheduling fewer activities for the kids, so that they can have free time to thrive.  Most of all, we’re going to explore ways to live richly while staying within our means – whatever those means might be.

I hope you stick around. I want this blog to encourage everyone to live their very best life and it’s going to be a fun ride!

Let’s get started with a little gift from me to you. Here’s a printable 2019 calendar for you to schedule the important things in your life. It’s a simple, monthly design that won’t use up to much of your ink, and that’s always a good thing!
